The Cambrian Lines

The Cambrian Lines, that comprise the 'Main Line' from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth and the 'Coast Line' from Machynlleth to Pwllheli, have since Victorian times helped open up Mid Wales to the rest of the world and tourism.

About using the trains -

The Cambrian Main Line travels through some of the most varied and beautiful scenery in the country while the Cambrian Coast Line provides one of the most stunningly attractive coastal rail journeys anywhere in the UK.

Cardigan Bay offers one of the greenest coastal destinations and the Cambrian Railways provide the ideal way of visiting and enjoying the "Bay". What could be better than riding, cycling or walking in the inspiring Cambrian Mountains or the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park?

Whether you are planning an activity weekend, a relaxing week on the coast or fun family day out - it's all on offer in this stunning part of Wales - and there's no better way to enjoy them than on the train, so go on, get on the right track - The Cambrian Railways.
